Applications:3-Benzyloxy-1-propanol is a useful synthetic intermediate. It is used to prepare aldose reductase inhibitors. It is also used to prepare 6-(2,4-diaminopyrimidinyl)-1,4-benzoxazin-3-ones as small molecular renin inhibitors.
