Applications:(+)-cis,trans-Abscisic Acid-L-leucine can be used in biological study for preparation and biological activity of amino acid conjugates of abscisic acid. Different sets of ABA-amino acids induced ABA-like responses in different plants. Different plants can also have hydrolyzing activity toward different ABA-amino acids and an ABA-amino acid may function as a species-selective pro-hormone of ABA.
