Applications:BIRT 377 inhibits lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1(LFA-1), which is a cell-adhesion molecule that mediates important immunological events (1). BIRT 377 is also a leukocyte adhesion suppressor (1). Studies showed that BIRT 377 inhibits lymphocyte activity both in vitro and in vivo (2)
